5. It has the function of shielding ultraviolet light

Zinc oxide is a reasonable and cheap white light stabilizer. Especially, it has good safety protection ability for UV light in the range of 240-380nm. It is often used for electrostatic powder, especially for outdoor electrostatic powder with better UV light shielding ability, which can increase the service life of the coating.

Zinc oxide has a strong ability to remove bacteria, which is used in water soluble architectural coatings. It also has the practical effect of removing mold when used in electrostatic powder.
